The cow, or “Gavo Vishwasya Matar,” is the mother of all living things. Scriptures say that serving the cow on its own counts as serving the universe as a whole. The cow shed serves hundreds of cows. Worshiping cows leads to both worldly and spiritual accomplishments. Harmony and happiness likewise continue to be realized.
यया सर्वमिदं व्याप्तं जगत् स्थावरजङ्गमम्।
तां धेनुं शिरसा वन्दे भूतभव्यस्य मातरम्॥
Meaning: By which all this world, movable and immovable, is pervaded. I bow my head to that mother-cow, both now and in the future.
The primary goals of human life, according to Vedic culture, are moksha, work, meaning, and religion. And “Panch Mahayagyas” will be used to achieve these goals. Man must perform all stages of Hindu rituals before beginning the “Pancha Mahayagyas”, which takes up a person’s sixteen sanskars (3 during pregnancy, 11 during life, and 2 after death). In this way, Panch Mahayagya, sixteen rituals, and four objectives—Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha—center human life under Vedic culture. Only once a person has undergone all the rigorous procedures can they truly be considered cultured and rise to the top.

ॐ शंखं चक्रं जलौकां दधदमृतघटं चारुदोर्भिश्चतुर्भिः ।
सूक्ष्मस्वच्छातिहृद्यांशुक परिविलसन्मौलिमंभोजनेत्रम ॥
कालाम्भोदोज्ज्वलांगं कटितटविलसच्चारूपीतांबराढ्यम ।
वन्दे धन्वंतरिं तं निखिलगदवनप्रौढदावाग्निलीलम ॥
Meaning – ॐ He is holding a wheel, a conch, a waterpot, and a nectar pot with his four lovely arms. The Lord’s crown is exquisite, and his eyes are like lotuses. His waist was encrusted with an exquisite copper garment, and his body shone like the ocean of darkness. I bow down in reverence to Dhanvantari, who plays with the fire of Gada’s forests.

Meaning – I bow and pray to Lord Dhanvantari who is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and is called Sudarshan Vasudev Dhanvantari. You have a pot full of nectar of immortality in your hands. Oh Lord, may you remove all fears and diseases. You protect the three worlds and are well-wishers of all living beings. You are the God of Ayurveda and the embodiment of Lord Vishnu. You are the ultimate healer of all living beings. We worship you and pray to you.
